This Week's Same Time, Same Station Program Schedule:

This is week 1 of a multi-week tribute to actor John Hodiak.

He was successful in radio, in the movies, and even on Broadway.

Born in 1914, he died just 41 years later of a heart attack.

We'll look this week at his radio career.

Unfortunately, we do not have any specific shows from the Lone Ranger from 1938 and or 1939. He did play parts on this show, but we haven't yet been able to identify him by voice. So we'll begin in Chicago.

This week we salute Ezra Stone. Ezra was best known for his role as Henry Aldrich.

He was an honorary SPERDVAC member and appeared at many Friends of Old time Radio conventions.

He was a class individual.
